McDonald’s Pushing For Human Antibotic Free Chicken

In a recent article I came across, McDonald’s is giving its meat suppliers two years to comply with supplying chicken that was grown free of human antibiotics.  The changes will have a cost impact associated with it, which seems to be put on the meat producers to deal with.  However, with McDonald’s size, they seem able to leverage this sort of change.  Check out the full article here:  http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2015/03/03/proof-hes-the-science-guy-bill-nye-is-changing-his-mind-about-gmos/
